Frankford Township and its public schools
face many fiscal challenges. All too often, budget constraints force
school boards to make agonizing choices about what education programs
must go instead of what new programs to support. Recreational projects discarded with little chance of advancement.
Many
communities are finding real value in the efforts of educational and
recreational foundations to generate additional sources of revenue for
programs and services that enhance the curriculum, learning and
recreational environments. To this end, residents in Branchville and
Frankford have established the Frankford Recreation/Education
Foundation, a broad-based, non-profit community organization.
